Project 60 Day Trial Download - Microsoft Community

I've been trying to download the MS Office Professional Plus 60 day Trial, and I get to the dialog box asking me where I would like to save the file. I select a location and then - nothing. I tried the download link for this same trial software on a 3rd party site, and it said the download link is not valid at this time.

I will help you download Office suite. Before we proceed with the troubleshooting steps, I need more information. Did you register for the Office suite when you purchased it? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. A trial is FREE. There is no purchase with a trial, it's free. I downloaded the trial too, and it will not activate. Microsofts download product system is plagued with problems that prevent a smooth installation and activation.

Mine wouldn't open, then it wouldn't install, and now it won't activate. I had to search out solutions online, for each problem. Presently I see no way to activate the free trial. I am already registered, I already downloaded it, and already installed it, yet Microsoft is not recognizing me as a registered, downloader of their product.

The error indicates that the installer has identified that you have had this trial installed on your computer before. MS only allows you to run the trial once. I don't know if they have changed the validation in , but in you were allowed to run each of the different trial bundles once. Once the installer "thinks" this way there is not much you can do. The only thing I know of is to completely re-install Windows.

Of course that means you have to re-install everything else too and backup your data files so you don't lose them too Thanks for your feedback. How satisfied are you with this reply? Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

In reply to Rohn's post on August 7, I agree that this is the problem. In reply to deleted message.
